Addressograph-Multigraph made literally hundreds of different versions of the Graphotype machine, most were assembled to the customers specific needs prior to leaving the factory.

When purchasing a Graphotype machine - if you intend to make dog tags - it is critical that YOU ensure the machine is ready to make dog tags or that the machine has the capability to make dog tags before you make that purchase.

IF IN DOUBT - ASK !

We hear horror stories of people purchasing Graphotype machines from eBay paying a really high price, then paying huge shipping fee's only to receive the machine and find out that it will NOT make military dog tags without serious and costly modifications, parts or adjustment.

Though not common, there are times no amount of money, modifications or adjustment will make a machine capable of producing dog tags.  The plain fact is that are some machines that WILL NOT make dog tags.

It is a sad state of affairs when someone has invested a thousand dollars or more into a machine only to find out the machine will not work.

Buyers of Graphotype machines need to be educated before making purchases.
